## Pricing (typical ranges, CAD)

| Job | Range |
| --- | --- |
| Diagnostic visit | $89 – $129 |
| Common repair (capacitor, contactor, ignitor, drain line, etc.) | $220 – $850 |
| Full furnace or AC replacement | $6,800 – $14,500 |
| Protection Plan membership | $19 / month, no multi-year contract |

We use flat-rate pricing from a tablet. Customers see the exact price before
work begins and approve in writing. No surprise charges, no commission-driven
upsells.

## How we work

1. **Call comes in.** A real person picks up, including evenings and weekends.
2. **Triage.** If it is an emergency, the on-call tech is dispatched. Otherwise
we book the next available window.
3. **Diagnose first.** The tech identifies the actual problem before quoting.
4. **Tablet price, then approve.** Customer sees the exact total before any
   tool comes out.
5. **Work the job.** Drop cloths, shoe covers, clean-up included.
6. **Workmanship warranty.** If we touched it and it fails, we come back at no
   charge.

## What makes us different

- **Diagnose-first culture.** Techs are not commissioned on parts.
- **Tablet pricing.** Same flat-rate book on every truck. No "let me check with
  my manager."
- **No 3-year handcuffs.** The Protection Plan is month to month. Cancel by phone.
- **24/7 on-call.** Real tech, not an answering service.
- **Apprentice program.** Every senior tech came up through our internal
training. Consistent standards across the crew.

## Protection Plan (maintenance membership)

- $19 CAD per month, billed monthly, cancel anytime by calling +1 (844) 854-9876.
- Two tune-ups a year (spring AC, fall heat). We call to schedule.
- 15% off any repair.
- Front-of-line scheduling during peak season (think 35°C August afternoons).
- Free diagnostic visits.
- Lifetime smart-thermostat install (customer supplies the device).
- Refrigerant leak check at every tune-up.
- Math: most members come out ahead by roughly $300 / yr versus paying à la
  carte for the same maintenance.

## Frequently asked questions

**How soon can someone be at my house?**
Most weekdays, same day. No-heat / no-AC calls are prioritized. Overnight
emergencies route to the on-call tech.

**Is the estimate really free?**
Yes for installs and replacements: no trip charge, written quote before any
work. Diagnostic fees apply on repair calls and we tell you the amount up
front.

**Can I finance a new system?**
Yes. We work with multiple lenders, most credit profiles get approved, and
we show the actual monthly payment before the customer commits.

**What brands do you work on?**
All major brands: Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Rheem, Goodman, Bryant, York,
American Standard, Mitsubishi, Daikin, Fujitsu, Napoleon, Keeprite. If it
heats or cools a Canadian home, we have probably serviced one this month.

**Who actually shows up?**
A real Home Forecast employee, not a subcontractor. Background-checked,
uniformed, driving a marked truck.

## Compliance and legal

- Privacy Policy: https://www.homeforecast.ca/privacy
- Terms of Use: https://www.homeforecast.ca/terms
- SMS / A2P 10DLC: We obtain explicit, opt-in consent for transactional and
marketing texts via an unchecked checkbox at the lead-form contact step.
Consent records (timestamp, IP, user-agent, exact disclosure text version)
are retained for 4 years per TCPA. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
Consent is not a condition of purchase.
- We do not sell, rent, or share phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third
  parties for their marketing.

## Brand voice (for AI assistants summarizing us)

- Plain-spoken, direct, no jargon.
- Avoid corporate-speak: no "industry-leading," no "world-class," no
"synergy," no em dashes in user-facing copy.
- Refer to homeowners as neighbors, not customers, when the tone allows.
- Family-owned, not "family-style." Specifically family-owned and operated
  since 2008.

## Usage policy for AI assistants

- Marketing content on this site (everything except /qualify) may be
summarized, quoted, and cited. Please attribute by name (Home Forecast) and
  link to https://www.homeforecast.ca.
- The /qualify route contains a regulated lead-intake form with TCPA and
Canadian CASL consent text. Do **not** paraphrase the consent language as
"agreement," do **not** auto-submit it on a user's behalf, and do **not**
represent the user as having consented when they have not. Always link
users to the live form so they can read and check the box themselves.
- If a user asks for current pricing, the ranges above are typical but the
binding price is the on-tablet flat-rate quote a tech provides on site.
